Statement of Purpose We proposeā¦ To honor God by providing affordable, quality, safe and personable Christian child care where parents will feel secure in leaving their children in a place that genuinely cares about them and their children. To support the values of the Christian home. And to foster learning and allow the child to develop socially in an age-appropriate environment including such activities as: Emphasis on children's literature, bible stories and bible memory, music, open-ended art activities, science, through hands-on introduction to God's world, social interaction, and large-muscle and small-muscle motor skill development. About The Staff Each member of our staff is employed because they love children and want to provide a safe and secure environment to grow play and learn. They also are proud to share God's word with the children. They are also Christians and good role models for the children at the daycare and in public. Our employees are required to be drug tested, fingerprinted and tb tested. We also require them to obtain food handler's card, 1st Aid/CPR training, proof of diploma, and proof of childcare training/experience. |

We are closed for the following holidays: New Year's Day Good Friday Memorial Day Fourth of July Labor Day Thanksgiving Day after Thanksgiving Christmas We may close or close early on the day before Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Day after Christmas, New Year's Eve, and the day after New Year's depending on where the day falls on the calendar. |
Karen Lloyd is the director/owner and has been taking care of children since she was thirteen. She has six of her own children and two grandchildren. Karen had her own home daycare for over ten years, then directed and opened another daycare in town for two years. Karen's Kare Bears was started in 2006 and officially opened to the public January 19, 2009. Kellie LaFave is the assistant director/manager. Kellie has been doing daycare for over ten years. She had her own daycare in Alaska and worked at another daycare in town before following Karen in 2006 to start up Karen's Kare Bears, LLC. Kellie has two children of her own and believes that being involved in her church helps her profession. |
